Work With Me Because I Want To Work With You

Would it not be great if our employer walked up to us and told us exactly why we should work with him

? It would be great if your new employer went up to you and said you should work with me because of these things I am going to tell you right now, instead of going through a very boring human resources orientation. Thus the following would be nice and more welcoming if this was told to you by your new boss rather than human resources.

Work with me because I see promise in you and you getting this far means that you have what it takes to be with us. I personally will show you the ropes and I will also make sure that you are a success. Furthermore let me add a few things on what you will gain by being with us.

Expect to be treated as a valuable member of my organization. I treat all members with fairness and value, from the doorman all the way to the CEO. I will continually provide you with benefits and fair compensation and remuneration commensurate with your skills and your contribution to our company.

Expect to be treated with respect and courtesy for this is my motto for all levels of my organization. Treating you with courtesy is not only part of our policy manual but also a part of our culture that I hope you will soon join. Treating all with respect is ingrained in all of our employees as well as in me.

You also have the right to learn and continue learning in our company. We highly encourage you to enter all our training programs both within and without the company, for you are expected to adjust to the ever changing demands of the world, which demands new skills and talents every day. Sometimes it may feel that you are being ignored or your demands have not been met in doing your job. If this happens please approach me, as I will be an open ear. I will see that you get the proper training and we can also discuss your ideas on learning.

You can look forward to me having an open ear to your needs when you join us. Our open communication policy is also our culture. You are welcome to communicate with me at any time to continue this culture but you must always put in the back of your mind who is the boss. This policy is not only for you but for our customers as well.

You have earned the ability to take advantage of all the opportunities that we will give you so you can advance yourself the best you can in our organization. We want to get our future leaders from the ranks and not from the outside. This is because we know our people well, and you are the best option to lead this company in the future since you know our culture and our commitment to excellence.
