As an employer or an employee, you need to be able to recognize that stress is a problem that you need to solve. After that, you can take steps to identify the potential causes in your workplace. If you think that the physical environment is not conducive to a relaxed and positive working atmosphere, then as an employer, you can choose to renovate or make changes in the space to make it a place where people would be happy to work in. If you're an employee, perhaps you can come up with a study showing the adverse effects of stress, show it to your boss, and recommend improvements to address the problem.

What some employers have done is to bring the spa in to their offices. This way, employees can get a 10-15 minute office massage right in their workplace. This can help to reduce stress, relieve shoulder and back pain, and increase productivity and morale almost immediately.
