Earning gold in World of Warcraft is not difficult
, especially for a level 70 character with the Burning Crusade expansion. It is simply a matter of knowing where to farm. The Outlands are simply one great big ATM if you know the secrets and are willing to put in the time.
Visit Best Alliance Leveling Guide AND a Horde Leveling Guide Shadowmoon Valley is a great zone for piling gold into your bank account. As in most all Outland zones there are mining nodes and herbs for those with gathering skills. Having these skills is not a requirement to make up to 175 gold per hour but they will boost your overall gold earning. There is not as much for skinners in this zone as there might be in other Outland zones but the items here that are gathered from skinning sell for quite a bit more. Cobra scales sell well on any World of Warcraft server regardless of faction. Coilskar Point is in the north central part of the zone. In this area you will find the Coilskar Cobra. These mobs drop cobra scales but they may only be obtained by skinning. Reputation Items sell well and there are a couple of great places to farm them in this zone. Legion Hold is in the western end of the zone right near the entrance to Terokkar Forest. The demons in this area drop a good amount of netherweave cloth, Fel Armaments and Marks of Sargeras for Aldor reputation, as well as a good many green items. Occasionally a blue item will drop and of course they drop cash.
Visit Best Alliance Leveling Guide AND a Horde Leveling Guide In the eastern end of the zone is the Black Temple. Here you will be killing Sunfury's of various types and demon hunters. These humanoids drop pretty much the same thing as the mobs over at Legion Hold except the reputation items are for Scryers. In the central section of the zone is an area of green bubbling lava. It is in this area that you can rake in gold. Earth and fire elementals abound here. They are not very difficult to kill and drop motes of earth and motes of fire. We all know how much Primal Fire sells for at the auction house, so this is an excellent place to farm for them. Making gold in World of Warcraft is easy. I do not understand why people spend real world cash for it. Get off your butt and earn it.
