World-class Marine Photographer To Host Exciting Week For Scuba Divers At Manta Lodge In Tobago

Diving enthusiasts have been invited to attend a series of events at Manta Lodge

in Tobago next month as Paul Humann, the famous author and photographer of the Tobago Dive Experience, and Solomon Baksh, the publisher of Blue Magazine get ready to host a week of scuba diving and marine education programmes.

Divers lucky enough to be taking scuba diving holidays between 3rd and 10th July, 2012 will be able to attend several of Pauls lectures about Caribbean marine invertebrate identification and behaviour.

Solomon will be co-hosting the week and visitors will have the chance to learn from the PADI Master Instructor with the choice of two PADI Speciality Certifications: the PADI Underwater Photography Specialty Course or Reef Fish Identification Specialty Certification.

As a photographer and publisher of Blue Magazine, Solomon has wealth of diving and underwater photography experience. Blue Magazine highlights the best scuba diving destinations in the Caribbean and Solomons photographs have also featured in PADI Sport Diver, Diver, and the PADI Undersea Journal among other publications.

The diving expert has logged more than 10,000 dives and he has trained diving students of all levels so they can go on to enjoy scuba diving holidays in exotic destinations.

Paul is an expert within the scuba diving community and he has co-authored with Ned DeLoach ten marine life field guides including Reef Coral Identification, Reef Set trilogy, and Reef Fish Identification. He is the author of the Tobago Dive Experience and his underwater photography has been published in National Geographic, Natural History, Natural Wildlife, Ocean Realm, Skin Diver and many more.

His expertise in identifying thousands of marine creatures has led him to become a well-respected figure in the scuba diving industry and his concern for the preservation of the marine world helped him co-found the Reef Environmental Education Foundation (REEF) with Ned DeLoach in 1990.

Tobagos Manta Lodge in Speyside has 22 comfortable rooms with private verandas and the resort offers an excellent setting for travellers seeking scuba diving adventures in the Caribbean.

While scuba diving in Trinidad and Tobago, divers can swim alongside hundreds of spectacular marine species such as colourful tropical fish, turtles, many species of corals and sponges, and the "Giants of the Drift" including the Great Hammerhead Shark and Giant Manta Ray.
