With a raiding guild there is always pressure to be online and raid sometimes every day. Player versus player is in my opinion an option that lets you play when you want to. In Battlegrounds you earn honor points and marks regardless of whether you win or lose. Of course you get more if you win but you get them either way. These honor points and marks are used to purchase items from the player vs. player non-player characters that are as good as items that you will get from hours of raiding. In some cases the player vs. player items are arguably better than those that you can only get with a solid guild. On most weekends starting on Thursday at midnight until Tuesday morning there will be "Battleground Holidays." Each battleground will have at least one holiday weekend per month. By playing on the holiday you will build honor and reputation much faster than normal. Take advantage of these holidays and get your honor and marks that much quicker.
