Once the topic of whether the eBook would take place of paper ones has discussed heatedly by people. But as time goes on, less people mention it. But now as the production of eBook becomes rapidly from some famous brands, the topic buzzed by people again. Some people still insist that traditional could not be replaced by eBook, but some others consider eBook would replace the papers sooner or later. Go on arguing this topic is meaningless, here I would list the advantages and disadvantages of eBook in different situations.

Firstly, we should clear what is eBook reader. It is an electronic device that takes the place of physical books. Generally, as digital assistants or PDAs is installed in the device, then people could download some books from the Internet.

Then we should talk about its advantages. Initially is the convenience. With this equipment, you do not need to carry on a heavy book on your vacation. They are light and easy for carrying. Secondly, many people may feel annoyed that the power cut when you are reading a paper book at night, then you only have to go to bed. To eBook, because of backlit screen, you can read it at night and the paper like screen can make you feel like you are reading a real paper book. Besides, carrying an eBook with you just like carrying a large library with you. You do not need to go to the library finding your book through those high shelves. Internet is your bookshelves.

Besides the advantages, eBook is also with many drawbacks. Though its shape likes a piece of paper, it is still an electronic device. You can not get out of your pen and take some notes on it. The feeling is not so good, because many of us have this habit. Furthermore, when reading the paper book, you can stop and continue reading anytime anywhere. But with an eBook, you have to shut it down as same as a computer when you do not want to read.

In conclusion, eBook has both advantage sides and disadvantage sides. The most important is to find the one you really need and like.
