Wraps And Graphics For Military Vehicles

In honor of Armed Forces Day this weekend, this weeks blog will be focused around Military wraps and graphics.

A little history on Armed Forces Day: The day was created in 1949 to honor Americans serving in the five U.S. military branches (The Army, The Navy, The Marines, The Air Force, and The Coast Guard) following the consolidation of the military services in the Department of Defense. It was intended to replace the separate Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard Days, but the separate days are still observed, especially within the respective services.

The first Armed Forces Day was celebrated by parades, open houses, receptions and air shows. In 1962, President Kennedy established Armed Forces Day as an official holiday. The United States' longest running city-sponsored Armed Forces Day Parade is held in Bremerton, Washington. In 2009, Bremerton celebrated the 61st Armed Forces Day Parade.

Now that youve gained some knowledge on this special holiday, why not take a look at some of the military style wraps that weve done over the years.

The military gets their vehicles wrapped for many different reasons: To relay a message, support a cause, or even sometimes just for the uniform look of a fleet of matching vehicles. Because the customer always is looking forward to a full wrap, color and design gets to be more interesting and complex. Again, looking above at the designs on both the Hummer H1 and the Trailers, you can see that both vehicles make a huge and clear statement.
