SEO writing is a distinct style which was born along with the internet and has matured in front of your eyes within a short span of time

. Though it is a evolving and growing still, I like to say some of the tired and tested steps for content optimization to create unique pages to help you to get near or to top of the search engine rankings.

Experts say that the goal of SEO has two fold, one is to put a bait for the search engine spiders and the second is to provide some useful information to the visitors. Still the debate about the priorities is continuing among the SEO experts and professionals, but in my point of view it would not be better to devalue the human factor in any success formula. So the single goal would be like to develop, position and refine the content in a way that satisfies both the visitors and the search engines.

The old saying says that content is the king, and it is becoming more important every day. Content is not just a written copy placed in a document, page or a site. It is the thing that includes title, heading, tags, internal site links, and external links. All these components have to be put together to form an interconnected things which is considered as a right thing by the search engines and the humans.

A point to be noted is that, good writing will always target the audience, and remember that you are writing for two readers (human and the software). So try to find some creative ways which will attract both of them.

Titles are very important since they are the first thing read by the real and virtual visitors. The title act as a primary topical identifier and has invaluable function playing dual purpose. When a person search for anything, title is the first thing they come across and it is the thing that compels the people to click through. Search engines also give more importance to the title, since they think it as a clinical and objective indicator that gives them some idea about the page.

Then comes the heading tags which carry some importance. Simply use the heading and subheading tags in your articles. Then by default they appear larger then the other text and is also boldfaced. This is important to give them more importance then the normal text. It is an opportunity to show the spiders your content theme and the keywords you want to rank for.

Then it is very vital for both the human and virtual readers to keep the page content focused to one topic. This can be considered as an unwritten rule. And this is followed by more of the professional content writers. On the other hand limiting the topic to one page will ease the task of placing the targeted keyword in the meta, title tags, body and also in the links. The other thing to be noted is that search engine spiders use algorithms that will work best on one focused at at time.

There is lot to do with the SEO content writing but all it needs is to be done well. Try to use some metrics and analytics to make sure that you are in the right direction in creating more content. This is something related to science. On the other hand the useful information will point the search engines and visitors in the right direction. This is the touch of art.
