Wyless And Interoute Are Building The M2M Superhighway
Wyless, the Global M2M Managed Services Provider, has signed a technical partnership agreement withInteroute, owner and operator of the largest fibre network in Europe, forInterouteto host three Wyless NOCs on their Next Generation Network platform in Geneva, London and New York. This agreement will link theInterouteadvanced pan European network, including its 8 Data Centers and 32 collocation facilities, with the Wyless managed global wireless network for Machine to Machine (M2M) applications.
Interouteoffers its customers a broad portfolio of voice and data solutions ranging from physical network-based products in the Ground to virtual network-based services in the Cloud. Interoute's network connects 100 cities in 29 countries across 55,000 kilometers of lit fibre. Furthermore,Interouteserves thousands of managed services customers across the globe.
The first new Wyless NOC became operational in Geneva in September 2010. In addition to creating a redundant, global backbone on theInteroutefibre network, the technical partnership will permit the companies to layer both Cloud and managed data services over the existing Wyless network.
