Wyless and Sprint deliver M2M one-stopshop' and faster time to market

Wyless Group, the leading global M2M managed services provider, has signed an agreement with Sprint (NYSE:S) that will enable them to provide CDMA data services to OEMs and application developers. Wyless can now offer a cost-effective wireless one-stopshop' for customers to develop and deploy applications on the Sprint network as well as a full suite of both GPRS and CDMA global services. Connected World Magazine has named both Wyless and Sprint as two of the top 100 most important and influential machine-to-machine technology providers in the world.

"We are excited to work with Wyless and to be part of their global partner ecosystem. M2M is shattering conventional notions about what a business can deliver for its customers. Business opportunities that were once technically infeasible or too capital-intensive are now both realizable and profitable in a short period of time," said Wayne Ward, Vice President, Sprint Emerging Solutions Group. "Sprint's early entry as a provider of comprehensive M2M solutions has been delivering mobility and producing results for businesses and their customers for over a decade."

Wyless offers a complete suite of wireless M2M managed services, enabling ASP partners to go to market quickly without the cost and complexities of implementing a global wireless network. Customers also benefit from access to Porthos, a powerful management platform that provides real-time reporting and control over all devices connected to the network. As a network enabler, Wyless can now offer prospective Sprint wholesale partners an end-to-end hosted network management solution for on-boarding to the Sprint network.

Dan McDuffie, Global Sales VP, Wyless Group, said, "This new partnership with Sprint means we are now able to provide CDMA services to our global ASP partners, providing greater flexibility and lower costs for higher bandwidth applications in the US market. Integrating CDMA into our managed M2M platform and global wireless network strengthens our ability to provide customers and partners with the quickest and most cost-effective route to market. We are very happy to be working so closely with Sprint's Emerging Solutions Group."
