XBids Review - Is XBids Another Penny Auction Scam Or The Real Deal
?!
With everyone busy Christmas Shopping and buying gifts for their loved ones, I wanted to avoid having to go to a jam packed mall just to pay outrageous prices for products. I wanted to finally find some deals somewhere. I started doing some research into penny auctions, and I was intrigued by the concept. I finally gave a couple of penny auction sites a try and I was surprised that they actually worked... Then I ended up trying Xbids a new penny auction site that promises great deals. Here's my horror story...
After signing up for a bid pack from XBids I looked around at a bunch of different auctions they had live. The way penny auctions work is that you have to purchase bid packs upfront and then every time you use these bids in an auction the price increases by $0.01 and the countdown timer gets 10 seconds added onto it. The last person to place a bid before the timer hits zero, wins.
Anyway, I started placing my bets on a new iPhone 4 and I quickly realized that this site had way too much competition. After an hour of back and forth bidding with a couple of other people, I was already down to 0 bids left. That meant I ended up using my whole bid pack - which cost of $100 and I didn't even win anything.

Since then, I've never used XBids again. That site has way too much competition. Instead of using XBids I've been getting great deals on brand new products by using a couple of other penny auction sites.
