Even if you are using strong cleaners, the same would not affect the strength of the metal unless, these would not have acids which would react with the copper metal to make it look bad. The copper sink would really be heavy and if due care is not taken during the installation of the same, and if knocks on you while you are using the copper sink, the impact could be dangerous. Though, this would not be a concern, in case you are going for the counter top copper sink. The copper sink is usually very expensive.
