This machine has been mantled one of the most dashing and powerful engines that is, though, compact. It is the liquid cooled, 4-stroke, forward inclined parallel 4-cylinder, 16 valves DOHC engine. This excellently powerful engine delivers the top power of 127 bhp at 14,500 rpm and a peak torque of 65.8 Nm at 11,000 rpm. The displacement of the bike is 599 cc. This kind of power can be exerted by a truly a sports bike. This excellent output of engine is supported by equally excellent six speed manual gearbox. However, this bike has only an electric start system. To further enhance its power output, this Yamaha bike is incorporated with Yamaha Chip Controlled Intake. It also has the Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle dual-injector system. This system is provided to give better throttle response and reduced mill braking.

One more feature which makes this bike a true superhero is the super quality braking system and forks. The front brake has a 330 mm diameter and is dual disc type. The rear brake is a single disc type having 220 mm of diameter. This combination of brakes is designed with great engineering to give the rider great control over the bike irrespective of the speed at which bike is running.

This superbly deigned Yamaha bike is provided with larger tyre and wheelbase resulting in better grip on the road. The frame of the bike is rigid and is aluminium die-cast Deltabox. Other attractive features of this super cool bike include digital instrument panel, large wind shield, two piece seat, bigger fuel tank, razor sharp tail and compact muffler.
