Yeast infection scare !!! - Fear to loose Fingers/Toes
The Yeast infection disease scared me so much that I thought my toes and fingers were going to fall off.
History of fungus invasion.
More than 25years ago I was attacked by a very funny disease when I was studying in India. It all started out with a whitish itching affliction in between my toes especially the small one. It later spread to the rest of the spaces in between the toes. Next the whole feet started blistering, swelling and with puss coming out of the blisters. I could not wear shoes. Then it attacked my hands. My palms and fingers had similar swellings and blisters which kept on busting with puss. It became so serious that I had to be hospitalized for a week.
All the times I was lying on my hospital bed I was scared to think what could next happen to all the organs of my body in between my feet, my hands and my head. They must all be infected because I could not imagine where the disease could have passed from my feet directly to reach my hands. It surely must be in the blood stream.
Yes it had occurred to me that this could have been directly transmitted to the hands I was using to scratch and clean my feet but somehow the fear of the whole blood being infected and thus transmitting the disease to the whole, body including the more sensitive internal and external organs never left me.
After the yeast infection was treated it kept on coming back and I was very religiously applying the cream and taking the tablets that were given to me. This I did for a very long time.
When I came to India I saw people with their toes and fingers missing and I was told that a disease caused them to fall off. This yeast infection disease scared me so much that I thought my toes and fingers were going to fall off.
At the hospital is where I was told that this was a fungus or yeast infection. I was assured that it was treatable and I won't loose my fingers and toes. This was my first encounter with fungus infection. I have respected and feared it since then.
Fungus does not die easily
When I returned after two years I took out my favorite shoes which I used to wear in India. After putting it on for two days the fungus infection came back and attacked my feet. I then remembered that I had used this pair of shoes for sometime before the infection prevented me from putting on shoes. This meant that the fungus infection can remains dormant all that long only to be awakened when it meets favorable conditions and a host.
I set my shoes on fire
I took out this very nice pair of shoe, threw it on the dust bin and set it on fire to make sure that the fungus in there burned to death.

I later researched and found a natural cure other than the hydrocortisone's, tubes / powders and tablets that I was given at the hospitals. I was scared to death
