Yoga Therapy For Diseases
The Yoga Therapy or 'yoga-chikitsa' refers to the treatment of diseases by means of yogic exercises which may be corporeal or mental or both
. It is a generalized form of yogic culture.
Yoga rehabilitation is natural and restorative and aims at transforming both the corpse and the mind. Because the obedience works mainly with yoga moves, it has been very thriving in helping to restore to health the body. Clients are usually given a sequence of postures each week which transform according to the development achieved after each visit to the therapist.

Yoga movements are in general preventive. They keep the body physically fit and the immunization system strong to ward off any onset of disease. But they can also be used to cure some physical disorders.
The normal posture for pranayam is vajrasan. One starts with breathing in (purak) and the cycle is purak - kumbhak - rechak - kumbhak. For this exercise we use shava asana lying flat on the back because the body has maximum relaxation in this posture.
One must have firm belief and faith in the desired outcome. Another thing to keep in mind is that the therapy should be started as soon as the problem appears. It is always easier to cure a disease in its initial stages.
