What is interesting about this statue is that it has been carved out of a single sandalwood log from Tibet. In another hall visitors will find interesting portraits and a bronze statue of the founder of this sect of Buddhism. In addition to these there are a host of other statues, carvings, murals and paintings to be admired here. The site lives up to its name, 'Palace of Peace and Harmony', and must be visited by those who want to experience the culture of the city in its authenticity.
