You Are..."The One"

There are hundreds of books and articles claiming to teach one how to find "The One." The truth is that you will connect with "your one" only when you are ready...that means you have accepted yourself as you are, that you need no one to complete you, rather to compliment you. (You will have worked on yourself, releasing negativity, blame and allowed forgiveness.)

We attract who we are. If you are loving, gentle, responsible and caring, you attract your loving partner (equal, fulfilling relationship.) However, if you feel like a victim, you connect with someone who victimizes (abusive relationships). If you are a rescuer, you will find someone to take care of (caretaker of addicts). If you are a controller, you draw to you someone to wield your power over (unequal relationships.) That is why you must remove your own garbage so it will not attract the stench of another's trash.

Meeting "your one" has no-thing to do with dating strategies, pickup lines, weight loss, plastic surgery, expensive clothing, being wealthy, having the right profile, knowing the right dance moves, and so on. (The aforementioned can certainly provide fun and excitement though. ) Your joining has to do with belief...your belief that connecting with that divine partner is possible, and will happen when the time is right for both of you.

You must desire this relationship, believe in it, be able to imagine it, see it, hear it and feel it in your daily living. It may not happen in your perceived timing, but it will happen if you hold true to the belief. Your thoughts are creating everything that is now in your present life. If you believe you will never find that "one," then of course, you will not...you will create your own self fulfilling prophecy,

In the meantime, you can free yourself from doubt about it by enjoying the dating scene or simply, patiently waiting until his/her arrival. However, it is imperative that you decide what type of a mate you desire and become that mate. After all, like attracts like, or similar energies are drawn to each other. Write down your partner's necessary qualities, and qualifications. You will add or subtract from these desired outcomes as you refine your search. Imagine this person and see, hear and feel yourself being with him/her. Keep these thoughts as your focus for as long as it takes and know with certainty that your creation will come into existence.

The only strategy you need is believing it will happen. Think of it as your gift to yourself...the perfect partner at the perfect time! Isn't that a relief?
