Let's begin with the dream. Your dream is often referred to as your "why." It is the reason why you are considering network marketing in the first place. This why could be a simple as getting out of debt or as grand as funding a humanitarian relief effort. Your why sets the desired outcome of your business. This desired outcome becomes the true north behind everything that you do. If you lack a substantial dream, you will also lack clear focus and direction. Your dream identifies where you are going and gives purpose to your day to day efforts.

Commitment is required to keep the dream alive. People who lack commitment find it easy to give up and walk away, without giving their decision a second thought. Commitment requires a decision of the heart and mind that you will continue on this journey until you've reached your final destination. You vow to let no obstacle distract you or thwart you from reaching that goal. Those who are committed simply strive that much harder, when the going gets tough; however, turning back is never an option.

The final ingredient is desire. It is a person's desire that puts action to their internal commitments. Desire becomes the internal drive that leads a person to do the work necessary to fulfill their commitment, no matter how long that may take. A person with drive will find as many productive uses for their time as possible, while a person without drive will find as many non-productive excuses for that same amount of time. This same quality compels and individual to spend time improving and sharpening their skills and abilities, in an effort to improve their overall productivity.

In the end, you must remember that this is YOUR network marketing business. In the end it will be YOUR dream, commitment and drive that determine whether or not your succeed or fail.
