You Need Your Ex Girlfriend - That Neediness May Cost You

It's understandable that you may have a feeling kind of like you need your ex girlfriend

to be in your life in order for you to be the happy guy that you used to be. That feeling makes you think that the only solution has to be to try and persuade her to come back to you as quickly as you can so that you don't have to suffer without her anymore. That does sound like a logical conclusion, if it were not for the fact that attraction quite often is illogical and you have to approach things from a different perspective than you might assume if you want to be able to get back with her.

Your Neediness May Cost You -

Ask any group of women to talk candidly about what it is like to be around a guy who is obviously needy for their attention and tit should not take you too long to figure out what they really think about guys who act that way. It won't be too long before you realize that being needy is a bad thing. Guys usually come to the false conclusion that neediness is a good thing because they usually get a lot of attention when they act that way from people around them who are not their ex girlfriend, and they assume that if all of these other people are giving them attention, then their ex girlfriend will probably do the same.

It does not work that way, though.

When you act really needy around your ex girlfriend, you are not going to get much attention from her most likely, and if you do, it won't be positive attention. It will be more of what I like to refer to as "pity attention," in that she might feel sorry for the fact that you feel the way that you do, but it is not making her feel attracted to you. That is going to work against you if you want her back, because she has to be attracted to you in order for you to get another chance to be with her again.

Pity Does Not Attract -

Not too many women dream about being with a guy that they feel a lot of pity for. And even if they do think that it is a good quality in an abstract way, when they actually get around a man who is pitiful or needy, they usually find out that it just feels "icky" to be around him. You certainly do not want to make your ex girlfriend feel icky being around you. No, pity does not attract, so it should not be a part of your strategy to get your ex girlfriend back. There are much better steps that you can take if you want to be able to get back with your ex girlfriend.
