Young Stars And Old Classics Come Out To The Furry Vengeance Premiere

Red carpet events are always fun to watch, and the Furry Vengeance premiere in L.A

. definitely had its share of stars to look out for. The April 18th screening drew out some of Hollywood's most popular rising stars in addition to several veteran actors. Brooke Shields and Brendan Fraser were both in attendance, in addition to co-stars Angela Kinsey and Skyler Samuels.

Brendan Fraser looked thrilled to be promoting his first major blockbuster film since his 2008 effort entitled Inkheart. Fraser has always been a favorite in family films, including the popular The Mummy franchise. He stays true to his strength in Furry Vengeance, which is an eco-friendly film the entire family can enjoy.

While he says he really enjoyed making the movie, Brendan Fraser had some work to do getting in shape for the role. Fraser had to gain a little bit of weight in his backside in order to handle all of the physical comedy in the film. Since he finished shooting, however, Fraser says his love of pizza has made it difficult to take off the weight he put on.

Another seasoned veteran who worked the red carpet was the lovely Brooke Shields. Shields first stole America's heart at age fifteen when she made the film The Blue Lagoon. She has since had an impressive career and seemed to be glowing as she made her way into the premiere.

Her film career has not been the only thing keeping Brooke Shields in the headlines over the years. In 2006, Shields made headlines when she published her book entitled Down Came The Rain, which focused on post-partum depression. The book was based on her personal experiences and struggles after giving birth to her daughter, Rowan.

The old favorites were not the only ones who made big appearances at the premiere for Furry Vengeance as well as the Iron Man 2 Premiere. Skyler Samuels was working the red carpet in support of her first big movie at just sixteen years of age. Although the grown ups may not know who she is, the kids will recognize her from several Disney Channel shows.

Another actress who made the jump from the small screen to the big screen in this movie was Angela Kinsey, best known as Angela Martin on the popular show The Office. Kinsey is no stranger to television, having made appearances on shows like Monk and King Of The Hill.. On top of all that, she stars in multiple 'webisodes' that go along with The Office. The movie shows a totally different side of her than the one that we are used to seeing from her previous characters.
