Your Own Personal Best

I was in a vicious circle, a mile in my 2 miles long

. Once I finished, I would like to get 10 kilometer bike ride, and then again in a vicious circle for a distance of two miles.

Execution is not easy for me. Frankly, I do nothing of the bike. I signed up for the duathlon in the gym to me a challenge. I need to goal, and accountability to get back on track.

If you run, I prefer to work outside when I look at the scene and let my mind wander, but here you are in a vicious circle. I had the TV to keep my mind occupied, and I was watching the Olympics. The men's race on the bike path. The men were incredible. Fast, strong, strong, firm and very competitive.

As I watched I thought, "I will not be good. I will not be as strong. I can not do that. I think, why am I bothering to do that?"

Wow ... I think he was right! It became very clear to me that the only person you need to compete, and it was myself, now, I myself was a defeat. You need to make a decision. Will be a source of inspiration to me or defeated?

Men have been watching on television, athletes, and it was unbelievable goals for their own race. And duathlon-trained, was a race to me. I had my goals and objectives for the race to meet the personal needs and expectations. It was all I had to do to win over personally do my best.

I chose to watch these men and used as a source of inspiration. I thought of the obstacles that had to overcome to get what it was in that day. Stressful time spent in the gym. Many of the races they ran. I thought about how often they skipped dinner with friends for another round or session with his coach. I thought in the investment they have made themselves. Of course, they compete on a wide stage. They have the world watching them and yes, they want to win the gold. In my eyes and every one of them happened. She won her fiercest competitor ... Themselves.

In both cases, my work and personal life, I see how easy it is to compare my results and progress to those around me. It is easy to give that a little ghost in the opening. I hear him whisper "to a mailing list has more than you are." "It was only in business two years and earns more than you." "How is its looks much better than mine did?" This little ghost is nothing other than myself ... Lee's biggest rival and fierce. It would be easy to allow another win to me.

It would be easy to give in to despair. Abandon my work because it is not as good as someone else or they do not achieve the results that someone else is to implement. The reality is that there will always be someone who brings the work of more income or have a longer time than I do. What matters is that I will do my best every day.
