My buddy yelled at me when he saw the latest photo of Zac Efron strutting along the beach.
"When on earth did Zac Efron look like that?"
I had to admit, I was pretty taken aback aswell. I always remebered Zac Efron to be super scrawny (well at least that was the general perception).
But times have changed.
Zac Efron is no longer a skinny teenager, now he has become a muscular, ripped stud.
The cool thing about Zac Efron's muscluar "transformation" is that is proves that skinny guys, with busy schedules can still pack on lean muscle mass in a very short period of time.
In fact if you have the right program, and the right determination you could very well look like he does faster than you think.
Having gone through a similar "transformation" myself, I thought it would be a good idea to share Zac Efron's workout and diet plan. These tips will help you to build muscle and change your body fast.
"I was just eating, eating and eating".
In order to gain muscle mass quickly, the most important thing to do is to eat like a machine. 6-7 meals per day, every 3 hours.
But this doesn't mean eat everything in sight. In order to gain LEAN muscle mass (not FAT), you have to eat the right foods. Your diet should consist of lots of proteins- such as steak, chicken breast, tuna, protein shakes, egg whites. It should also include good quality carbs like brown rice, brown bread and oatmeal. And also healthy fats such as olive oil, peanut butter and fish oil.
If you eat those foods on a regular basis, you have won over 50% of the battle.
Seriously, it's that important.
The next step in the Zac Efron workout is to start doing stregth training. Hit the gym hard atleast 3 times per week. Focusing on fudmental compound lifts. These include deadlifts, squats, bench press, pull ups and seated rows. These exercises work your major muscle groups and will help you build quality muscle mass very quickly.
My next piece of advice would be to create a goal and a dead line for yourself.Your goal could be to add 20 pounds of muscle mass to look like Zac Efron in the next 6 months. By having a specific date and deadline, it committs you to take action.
Once you start eating right and working out consitantly, you will find that you make major gains very quickly. But In order to continually improve your body and break through the plateaus you need a specific workout and diet plan.
