Lets say an app developer charges $2.99 for their app, this allows up to five users from the same iTunes account to use the app at no additional cost, for an unlimited amount of time. Previously this may have frustrated developers but now with iAd, developers can still collect revenue on those additional downloads through iAd sales. As long as the users are viewing the app, the iAds will appear and give developers a consistent means of generating revenue.
