Marko Stout, a Dutch born American physician and artist whom currently resides in New York City, is now producing some of the most exciting and thought provoking work of recent years. Dr. Stout combines a doctor's anatomical cubism and a post neo-expressionism style with the brilliant and symbolic use of color to examine the non-material metaphysical nature of the human condition.

Dr. Stout's anatomical knowledge is pooled with both Jungian and universal archetypes to study this strange world in which we seem to find ourselves. He forces the viewer to ask complex questions such as, what is consciousness and what is the reality of the material-spiritual world in which we live? He truly creates a mystical experience for the observer; bring them far down the rabbit hole in a search for a transcendent truth.

Marko Stout is a naturally gifted artist who has ability to utilize both color and form to generate an extreme emotional texture of mature complex work. His intellectual knowledge, Jungian archetypal integration and cubist like anatomical aesthetics are used as a device to gain greater knowledge into humanity and our place in the universe.

A brief preview of Marko Stout's upcoming exhibit, "The Cave" is now widely available online. This appears to be a major NYC exhibit opening in the autumn of 2011. In this exhibit Dr. Stout uses Plato's Cave allegory found in "The Republic" to examine the non-material world of change not available to us through our limited senses, but none-the-less the true highest and most fundamental kind of reality. This exhibit is a must for all lovers of wisdom and truth who are seeking enlightenment through the visual medium of modern art.

Most people live in a world of relative ignorance and are comfortable with that ignorance because it is all they know. When we first start facing truth the process may be frightening and many people run back to their old lives. Marko Stout's "Cave" exhibit forces the viewer to rethink what they have long held to be sacred physical truths and once you've tasted the truth you won't ever want to go back to being ignorant!

Although Marko Stout is a local New York City artist I'm certain it won't be long before his name and work become widespread in the global art community. I'm passionately excited about the artist Marko Stout and eagerly looking forward to the opening of his much anticipate "Cave" exhibit next year.
