Well, now that I have got you wondering what that smell is in your closets, lets check out what It could be. There is a variety of things it could be coming from. First check out the closet ceiling, walls, and around the baseboard for dampness and water penetration. Water could be coming down inside the walls for a long period of time. There may be a slow leak from the roof, maybe around the chimney. Also check the closet walls for paint or wallpaper discoloration.If your fortunate enough to have alight in your closets check thelight shade for water.

Now we will check out that jacket you put away wet last spring. Has it gone white and patchy. Does it smell a little moldy or is thatmildew, either way we better get rid of it. Now how about those boxes that have been in the closet for years. Yes, the ones you never got around to opening since you moved here seven years ago. You always were going to do something with them, buttoo busy, not enough time, I'll do it tomorrow. Well guess what, it's too late. thats where the smell is coming from. You kind of forgot that old pumkin you had for halloween seven years ago and now you will not believe what it looks like. whew hoo is that rank when you open the box.

While were at it we might as well check out the clothes, to see what we should keep and what can go to the Sally Ann. You better check out all the the pockets (You know how forgetful you are) you just might find some money and maybe that long lost earring you could never find. Okay now while everything is out of the closet you might as well give it a good scrubbing as it still smells. Whew, glad thats over. Now I better check all the other closets while I'm at it.
