Most of us who are law abiding citizens in America realize the economy of most of the world is in a slump and has been for a while now. We use credit cards to buy things we cannot afford to pay cash for and suffer for it later when the balance owed go up and so does the interest we pay for that convenience.Now there seems to be a trend to pay off our bills, both credit cards and mortgages, by taking advantage of some Federal Grants aimed at Debt Relief for Citizens. How can the government afford to pay off the many millions of dollars owed by its citizens to credit card issuers? How can it afford to pay off mortgages for the good people who simply cannot afford to keep up with their monthly mortgage payments?One thing about the U.S. government, it is resourceful. The majority of grant money appears to stem from private citizens who fall into the higher tax brackets. These folks prove they have a generous nature by providing millions of dollars in the form of grant money. This, in turn enables them to reap the rewards of hefty tax deductions when April 15 rolls around.
