For updating myself with the new changes in Indian women dresses for the Asian countries is one of my favourite interest in surfing net. May be it's unconventional type, never mind.
It simply does not fit my sense about present fashion designers ideas and test. These fashion designer would never wear them and so why create something which they would never wear.
Once an Indian fashion designer rightly said:
'"I never identify myself with the typical trends in fashion and as a result, I can't create such wares though they might be in great demand."
True, the rich exotic look is immensely popular, especially in the bridal market, but it simply does not fit my sense of design and fashion. I would never wear them and so why create something which I would never wear myself? Indian designer wear should be made keeping in mind the long herritage of our culture & traditions and not as fashion for ramp only.
A significant number of present day women prefers wearing designer wear irrespective of their price but are confused on visiting most of the time while visiting various on line stores. While Indian fashion industry has grown tremendously but there are still enough scope for development. In my personal experience I have observed that while i liked the work, color and fabric of a particular dress but its pattern/style is against all our culture and society. NRI women living around the world canaccustomed to western culture and fashion but women living in India or other part of Asia do not like them at all. It is not that Indian women do not like designer dresses but they are very much interested in designer dresses subject to the design should be in good taste and perfectly blended with Indian culture.
I found a great website http://www.eslarrenterprise.co.in where they shows simplicity of Indian designs by making optimal use of Indian fabrics and craftsmanship.
