going The Distance Guidance For Long Distance Relationship!

, are the words that best describe long distance relationships. However, that the words are challenging and difficult but not impossible. This is what Going the Distance, a romantic comedy flick, will explore the insides of a long distance relationship.

The movie is centered with Drew Barrymore who plays Erin, a late bloomer in life due to a past disastrous relationship, who is interning in New York City for the summer and Justin Long who plays Garret, a clueless man-boy who never seems to get it right when it comes to relationships. They meet in a completely relatable way, at a bar over a beer and an arcade game. Then begins a cute love story, which is totally practical and filled with loads of humor. But the main flaw is that Erin has to return back to San Francisco to complete her graduation, so the couple decides to try the dreaded long distance relationship. What this movie does try to do is, to present an honest look at the trials and tribulations of long distance relationships; from loneliness, lack of sex, a phone sex experience, texting love messages and finally the question of whether long distance relationships really work. Technology can help and hinder long distance relationships by using Skype, webcam, mobile phones, etc and can stay in touch all day all night.

Some couples are able to make it work. Some would say that the best part of long distance relationships is the excited reunions. It helps to make the relationship spicier when the two see each other after being miles apart for so long. But can these happy reunions hold a long distance relationship together?
