Hymenoplasty is defined as restoration of torn hymen.This is done by suturing the torn remnants of the hymen.If torn remnants are not suitable for surgery , then we have described another tec hnique in which the flap is taken from vaginal wall and hymen is reconstructed.
The revirgination should not be confused with hymenoplasty.In revirgination everything which has gone wrong during first sexual intercourse is taken care off.Hymen is restored , loose vagina is corrected and at the same time loose bulbospongiosus muscle is tightened.All thing done together make a girl revigin in true sense.
Hymenoplasty is restoration of torn hymen and can be of different types.Once the hymen is restored it would remain same for years and will break only when something is inserted inside vagina .The usual hymen type which is created is either sieve hymen or crescent hymen .Sieve hymen is reconstructed when one is to be married months after .It is so that no retention of blood can take place during menses.But properly done crescent hymen is also good.
few of the doctors advise the surgery should be done one week before marriage .beware of such doctors .They are not doing hymenoplasty but creating a wound which would bleed during sex.A properly done hymenoplasty should take at least 3 weeks in healing and so should be done at least 3 weeks before expected sexual intercourse
similarly revirgination process should not be confused with hymenoplasty.If vagina is loose and not corrected , sex on first night will give the idea that vagina is loose and the girl is not virgin .So if somebody has undertaken sex for many a times or with different partners , go for revirgination and not hymenoplasty
