The application runs on a device which uses it's location tracking mechanism to determine precise coordinates
. Location is determined by at least one method such as using the device's Global Positioning System (GPS) or cell tower triangulation. The applicaiton displays and stores the information and then transfers it to a central server for storage, viewing and reporting purposes. This application is unique in that it requires "Consent" to track the device in which the application is running on. This application keeps track of the device on the device, and on the server. The application incorporates the ability to track multiple devices, storing location data locally on the device, and then transferring it to a central computer. Performance data is continually provided to the user by noting the accuracy of the location tracking mechanism, so there is constant feedback of how well the application is performing with regards to external variables. The beauty of the application comes in where location data can continue to be determined, stored and displayed on a map, even when there is no cell tower service to the device.
