At QuakeCon 2010, Id Software founder John Carmack demoed Rage on the iPhone 4 running at an impressive 60 frames per second

. And what is perhaps even more impressive is the fact that Carmack believes that the game will kill something to do on the Xbox and PlayStation 2 We first learned about Rage coming to iPhone and IPAD in March so well that it eventually will happen, and sooner rather than later.

Any fan of first-person-shooter there must be no doubt chomping at the bit to see this country to the App Store this year. And a title is not enough, perhaps planning a sequel, which will be available only during the 2011 launch for the PC will be happy.
