over the past year,netbook is the hottest product, as well as the smart phone,especially iphone.so,if the mobile interenet device(MID) will be hot?
many of manufacturer are focusing the mid,such as Dell computer,its bussiness with PC was very bad in past year,and the smart phone market has been firmly occupied by Apple and Blackberry,competition was particularly fierce.if mid will be hot,no doubt for its performance.
in fact,in recent months,some rumors said,Dell might lauch mid soon.
in addition,the other pc manufacturer are have the bad case.such as lenovo,acer,asus etc.so there are similar speculation with them.
smart phones are convenient,but the online experience is far less,laptop have a good interenet experince,but not good at portable.
therefore,if there have a machine could be in pocket,always connect to 3G network,and better than smart phones within interenet experince.it will have a good market,perhaps,the market will belongs to MID

this is ideal mid of intel.in fact,this idea was took first by intel in the april 2007

actually mid is the further subdivision of
UMPC,intel believes,the difference between mid and umpc is not in the hardware,size and software,just in application.the main point of umpc is to became a small full-featured portable computer,and mainly for business people.and mid is mainly for average consumer.
