This applies to any accountancy interval finishing right after 31 March 2010.In addition to filing company tax statements and company accounts on-line, corporation tax debts and related payments have to be paid electronically. Electronic payments include direct debit, phone banking, Bacs, Chaps and internet banking. Associated payments include things like such items as interest on overdue tax bill as well as fines for overdue filing of corporation tax returns and financial statements.Firms could continue to file a company tax return for a year or so ending immediately after 31 March 2010 in paper format but the corporation tax return has to be delivered prior to 1 April 2011.
