Corruption For The Modern Age I wonder just how many people are aware that several supreme court justices have been paid off by conservative groups. Scalia speaks frequently at conservative group events where he is paid handsomely. Clarence Thomas and his wife receive large amounts of kickbacks from conservative organizations. And these are but two examples.The upshot to this is that the ultimate protectors of our democracy have been bought off by a small segment of our vast populous. This is a tragedy in the making, especially since they Supreme Court recently issued a ruling giving corporations the same rights as public citizens to monetarily effect the political process.
