I'm a golf nut, you know, the guy who will play golf no matter what the weather is like. well, I'm lucky I live here in Northern California and we have good weather , most of the time. So I get to play golf about three times a week. I try to play a few different courses each week. We have many great courses in Marin and Sonoma counties. Depending on the time of day, because of the heavy traffic, is how I pick my course.. Mornings I travel north and in afternoon I go south. I'll start my tour in Mill Valley. They have a nice little nine hole course. I stop here after work as it is easy to get in nine holes. Mill Valley does have it's problems. The course is very small and on a couple of holes you drive over the next fairway. I've had a number of close calls. But it can be fun if you watch out for all the beginning golfers. Do take along a few extra golf ball because ,as I said the fairways are narrow and if you miss one the rough is no place to be. being only 2140 yards the course can be very difficult.
