Kitchen stoves usually come with some task lighting of their own. It is basically just a bulb that sits over the top of the kitchen stove, making sure that you can cook without any interruption or incident. This is just one example of task lighting. Reading lights are another type of task lighting and can come in many different shapes and sizes.
Now we come to accent lighting. This is a type of lighting that is intended to add character to a specific room. For instance, a spotlight could be easily used for this, or, if you wish, you could utilize some rope lighting around the edges of the walls. Typically this is done on the floor to light up the walking surface.
There are so many different types of lighting to consider when you go shopping. Not only do you need to think about the type of lighting, you also need to think about the style. Style can be very important, as you need something that will go well with your house.
So look around your living space and think about what would look nice. Perhaps you might consider a few new lights on the walls or something to go in the bathroom. These are all things that you will probably need to ask yourself at some point before you're ready to buy your new lights.
