subject: Complaints That Have Plagued My Harvest America [print this page] My Harvest America Complaints are all over the Internet. This isn't the only MLM company with complaints. Every-time a new MLM company launches it brings with it a lot of momentum and yes, a lot of complaints. Lets take a look at what people are complaining about and whether these are showstoppers.
My Harvest America allows people to make purchases online for their non perishable items with the intention of saving money. Some distributors who have tried the system are reporting problems with their purchases. It seems the system is capping their orders, which means that all the items they select do not show up in the final shopping cart at checkout.
It is not uncommon for both customers and distributors to speak out in on-line forums and social media posts to reveal the truth about company complaints, and in this case - My Harvest America complaints. I did find some consumer complaints regarding the company in various Internet forums.
One particular distributor complaint caught my attention. The distributor mentioned that while My Harvest America website had a lot of branded items, these weren't the ones his family was using. If a distributor is unable to assess the system properly, how can he jot down a good testimonial for his prospects?
There have been reports about long delays in shipments. Some claim that there can a waiting period of up to three weeks. Yes, that's right, I did mention three weeks. I don't know about you, but I am not a very good planner when it comes to food. A three week delay would require a lot of planning in advance or alternatively a lot of trips to the local grocery store, which kind of beats the whole purpose.
A quick search of the Better Business Bureau shows the company with a C- rating on a scale from "A-F". So, My Harvest America gets a little less than average report card from the BBB. The reasons indicated on the BBB website are listed as follows:
*BBB does not have sufficient information to determine how long this business has been operating
*BBB does not have sufficient background information on this business
It seems five complaints have been registered against My Harvest America since December 2009. A gist of the complaints include issues with refunds, advertising and delivery issues. As per the BBB website it looks like all of these complaints have been resolved.
Since MyHarvestAmerica is making an attempt to resolve complaints registered at BBB it goes a long way in showing that the company cares for its distributors. This a little reassuring while assessing the company.
My Harvest America complaints are out there, but I don't see any show stoppers; however, individuals building a My Harvest America business opportunity may have some hurdles to overcome in the complaint department. Nonetheless, there is no doubt in my mind that there is a market out there for this service. Finding them, however, may be a challenge without a full proof turnkey marketing system that helps generate leads outside of the friends and family base. I don't think anyone will become the next MLM millionaire just by marketing this business to their friends and family, but there is a possibility that with the right resources and some savvy on-line marketing techniques, a My Harvest America distributor may be able to create a sustainable residual income for themselves.
