If a man that you are with has not even mentioned having you in his future, chances are he is not thinking about being with you long term. Do not try the tricks that women sometimes will do to try and "make" him fall in love with you. Those tricks do not work and in the long run you wind up feeling hurt.
If you are ever talked about marriage or having a long-term commitment with him and when this discussion comes up, if he does not respond or if he looks sick at the thought of having a long-term commitment with you, then you are wasting your time with him.
It is not say that you are trying to tell him that you want to be married on tomorrow, but you are trying to let him know that this is where you would like to eventually go and there is nothing wrong with letting him know what you want out of the relationship, as a matter of fact that is what you are supposed to do. By letting him know what you want from that relationship, it is a way for the both of you not to waste your time with each other if that is not something that the two of you can agree on.
When a man constantly breaks the dates that he sets up with you or just stand you up, you would do best to move on in the other direction. You are truly a wonderful person and you do not deserve anybody who does not respect your valuable time enough to not waste it by standing you up. That is the last thing that any man who loves a woman would want to do to her. If he is constantly standing you up, then he is not serious about the relationship or about you. And occasionally, things do come up and people are not able to keep certain days, however it happens on a consistent basis, then that person is just obviously wasting your time.
Most couples will display signs of affection in public. It is not to say that you have to have a very public make out session, but there other ways to show affection when you are out in public. You can sometimes hold hands or he will even sometimes put his arm around your waist. You are a beautiful woman and he should want the whole world to know that you are his. If he refuses to display any type of affection with you in public, then you need to ask yourself why that is. Some people do not like public displays of affection; however they still tend to do little things to show you that they care such as touching the small of your back to help guide you when you are trying to maneuver to a crowd.
You deserve to have someone in your life who will offer you the things that you want. If a man that you are with cannot see you for the great person that you are and is not willing to commit to being with you for the next 50 years, then you do not need him. It is not to say that it makes him a bad person because he does not want to commit to you, sometimes he just does not feel that you are the one. Do yourself a favor and politely let him go and continue your search to find someone who will offer you the things that you want in life.
