subject: A Review Of Patti Labelle Perfume Oil For Women [print this page]

Its just good business to listen to your customers sometimes and this is what we did when we decided to start carrying this scented oil fragrance. Listening to you is one of the best decisions that we have ever made. We used to move each time a customer would want us to do or carry something different, but as time went on we learned better. We learned to take note of what our customers wanted us to do for them before we made a decision to try a new product. We learned not to move until we heard a multitude of different voices asking for the same thing. This was the case when we added this perfume oil to our product list and we have not regretted this decision yet, as we have come to regret so many others.

Patti Labelle is named after the famed singer who began her career with the group Labelle and the hit song Lady Marmalade who was a Creole woman who was a New Orleans streetwalker. This song took the music industry by storm and quickly launched the career of this star into orbit. She was an overnight success and so it is with this perfume oil.

This oil does not promote the streetwalker type image. Patti is much older and more refined. She likes to refer to herself as a Real Woman and this is the effect that this perfume oil gives. It puts me in the mind of a woman who is self assured, maybe a little flirty, but definitely in control of herself and the situation around her. It gives a hint of sexiness and has a long lasting second note. It is loud enough to be noticed but not overpowering. It reminds me of the woman whose presence is felt by everyone around her. She knows that you are watching her and enjoys it but it is up to you to make the move. It reminds me of the woman who will engage you in intellectual conversation but is at the same time totally down to earth.

The first note is citrusy but then gives way to a floral essence. The floral aspect is powerful but not too strong or sweet. It maintains this strength for quite a while which Im sure was the perfumers intent. It definitely has a suggestive fragrance but not overly suggestive. It seems to say I am here but only for the dominant male if he can deal with me. It is not heavy, sticky, or too flowery. It is ideal for springtime and summer wear but is versatile enough to be worn year round. It would not be out of place at all on a fall evening or on a winters day. It is feminine but not too much so. It reminds me of the woman who can hold her own in a group of men with ease.

It is ideal for wear to any type of social event whether it is a semiformal event from a cook out, to a movie or dinner date. I personally believe that it is best when it is worn around a large group of people. This will give it more room to do what it does and cause you to be noticed.

This fragrance lends itself to wear with light or medium early spring to late summer clothing. It can be used with light, bright clothing, or medium colors and fabrics.

Many different women request this fragrance so it lends itself well to a variety of different body chemistries.

I am not going to try and list the ingredients in this fragrance because Im not so sure about what they are. It does have a citrus beginning with a floral second note. The second note has a woodsy base which keeps the fragrance in bounds and gives it the boldness that it has. It does have a blend of fragrant wood scents in the last note. These scents serve as the base of the fragrance and really help to develop its character.

Since this is oil based fragrance keep in mind that the scent will last much longer. Oil fragrance is activated by body heat rather than alcohol so the scent does not overpower but keeps on providing its fresh, clear aroma for hours. Also since there are no solvents used to leach the fragrance out of the ingredients used it has more of a natural aroma than the actual perfume.

I sincerely think that you will enjoy wearing this scented oil fragrance and witnessing the effects that it has on other people. Fragrance Oil Express
