Vinegar and Water Solution
Vinegar and Water Solution

Yes. Your all time favorite dip can be a mold buster. Simply make a 1:3 solution of vinegar and water in a spray container, and spray on infected areas. Afterwards, leave for at least 30 minutes or more depending on how severe it is . Scrub off with water and soap.

Bleach

The ever reliable bleaching solution is also effective. A cup of bleach mixed in a gallon of water can be sprayed in surfaces infected with molds. While doing this, always make sure that you are on a well ventilated area since bleach when inhaled can be poisonous. Allow to stay for an hour or depending on the severity of the damage. You could either wash it off with soap and water or just leave it all behind since the solution would prevent build-up in the future.

Baking Soda Paste

This is my favorite DIY product-the baking soda. Pour a small box of baking soda in a small can and put in a little water, stir until it has attain a paste consistency. You could use a used toothbrush in applying in affected areas. Some friends add calamansi extract or lemon juice to make it more effective.

Commercial Products

If budget would permit it, there are products which you can purchase in hardwares. Just always make sure to read the label on how to properly apply it. You can also ask an agent to educate you with safety precautions on how to use it. Or hire someone to apply it for you, with these you would save yourself the hazard of being exposed to toxins and make sure that all molds would be wiped out.
