I've been waiting for Nelly to give me a new song to fall in love with and Just a Dream is it!Basically, this record speaks from the perpective of a person who has made it to the top and has lost their significant other during the grind.
Fly-ishTV.com always has the exclusive videos, and I found out about Just a Dream from browsing their videos; I haven't heard this song on the radio yet so Just a Dream must be brand new as of today.
Back in 2002, everyone loved "Hot in Herre"; that's when I really started listening to and following Nelly as an artist. Of course, "Air Force Ones" was another smash hit.
After climbing the charts, Nelly took a stab at the big screen by staring in the film "The Longest Yard" with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock.
Nelly also took his business outside of music to the next level by releasing Apple Bottom Jeans for women.
On the food and beverage side, Nelly launched Pimp Juice and sold just as many cans as he did albums; roughly one million cans in two months!
Unfortunately, with all of these projects going on, Nelly ended up losing his so-called girlfriend Ashanti in 2008.
What a run! It's no wonder Nelly took a haiatus from the limelight!
It's hard to tell how well a song will sell or chart these days; hopefully the fans will push this song to the top!
