subject: Danbro Enjoy Record Month For Registrations [print this page] Danbro, the specialist accountants for contractors, are providing further signs that the worst of the recession is over after a record month of new client registrations during April.
The firm was able to keep expanding taking on new clients and staff during 2009, despite the economic downturn, and has recorded a further rise in new business in the first few months of 2010, culminating in last months figure, which was the highest in the firms history.
Danbro partner Damian Broughton said: We have focused on maintaining good customer relationships and improving our service which, as well as helping us keep hold of our existing clients, has enabled us to attract new ones.
We are becoming recognised as a firm that not only provides a PAYE umbrella solution, but also a wide array of services such as, tailored accounting solutions for contractors operating through their own Limited Company, international services for contractors working abroad and a financial advisor for those seeking to improve their tax efficiency even further.
With the latest figures on the economy showing a gradual, although fragile, improvement, it is likely that there will be more opportunities for people to work as contractors or freelancers, which means our market is set to continue to grow.
This year has also seen Danbro launch a range of financial products and services designed especially for contractors and freelancers, in partnership with specialist provider ContractorFinancials. It has also enhanced its Digital Online Timesheets (DOTs) system which allows users to enter their timesheet and expenses details online, removing the need for paper records.
The firm also won the prize for Small Deal of the Year at the Insider Dealmakers Awards 2010 for its successful takeover of Safe Business Solutions last year, and made the final shortlist for Business of the Year and Best use of E-Business at the Be Inspired Business Awards.
