Getting the best out of you camera
Getting the best out of you camera

These days most people have a digital camera whether it's just a camera phone or one of the latest's digital cameras like one of the canon Ixus digital cameras. There are many new cameras out there to suit most peoples price ranges like the canon Ixus digital camera, or in fact any of the canon ixus range for that matter,

Because of this most people want to get more from their pictures. I'm now going to give you the best tips to make your photos amazing

1 Its important that you read the manual unless you fancy trying to work out how to use your new camera while trying to take a picture. The Canon Ixus electronic camera manual for example is broken down into uncomplicated to understand sections which will assist you to to master the options

2 Turn off the date stamp! If theres a good reason to keep it on then fine, but far better to remove it. Theres nothing to stop you changing the pictures into date form Far greater than losing a section of one's image.

3 Theres a right and a wrong way to use the flash. You are far better using the cameras built in night time settings. When you use the flash you need to be less than 6 meters away preferably alot closer than this.

Don't just press the button to take the picture. press it down about half way first, as this will let the auto focus do its magic

Alot of the better cameras have special settings, these arnt a gimic they are designed to help you get the most from particular scenes

6. Distance settings. The Canon Ixus digital camera range have one of the best auto focus settings on any compact camera, so in most cases you can just enable it and then point and shoot.. It's still worth experimenting as this isnt always the case with alot of cameras. In which case you just need to get that bit closer to your subject.

7. There is no point in trying to take pictures if you have a ton of dirt on your lense. If its still not clean use some Isoproponol, again this can be purchased easily as glasses cleaner.

8. Ok so you were born with two hands (well hopefully) So why try to use only one to take a picture?. Not doing this and you can pretty much garentee that your pictures will be blurred from where you are moving your hand about. even if they are not you will find that your auto focus will have to keep adjusting. If you have one of the Canon Ixus Cameras they have inbult image stablisation, but thats not really the point and you should get into the habit od holding your camera properly!

9. A friend of mine gave me this tip, if you rest your elbows on your chest when you take pictures it will help keep the camera more stable. This makes a huge difference together with the last tip when using a camera phone.

10. Your camera has a view finder for a reason. I know its easier to use the big Lcd screen, but if you do so you wont have the camera close enough to keep stable Some of the new cameras like the Canon Ixus digital range are fitted with pure colour Lcd screens. If your head hasnt already exploded then ive got more for you.

What normally happens is they get home and try the new camera only to find that the pictures still suck.....

Before I tell you how to deal with this situation, perhaps it may be a good idea to discuss how camera's actually work, which will help make the problem a bit clearer. The picture is taken when the shutter opens, this allows the lense to focus some light onto the sensor. The lens must also gather lighting (aperture)

Its also improtant to consider how sensitive the sensor is to light (ISO) and for how long the shutter will be open for. If you what your camera to perform at its optimum what you have to make sure is that the settings on the camera are working in a way that will help the camera to see more light Firstly you will need to increase the sensors sensitivity to light by increasing the ISO. Should you can adjust the aperture you might have to widen it. More external light is the next solution. Its really worth noting the fact that a lot more you improve the ISO the a lot more grainy the photograph can grow to be so dont go overboard

Firstly make sure you take your pictures with the sun behind you that way you will get a better picture as it will make the colours more vivid, but too bright then the shadows will get too dark

Ok that wraps it up for this article, but if you would like far more you'll be able to always examine my other articles just goto http://iwant-that-one.com
