subject: Indianapolis Used Car Dealers Proud To Save Consumers Money [print this page]

Kia dealers in Indianapolis are pretty excited about some of the new designations theyre receiving, even though I would be surprised if this was news to anyone. Im talking about the affordability of the Kia line of vehicles, with many of the cars included in the lineup also boasting serious affordability in terms of total cost of ownership. When you make small, fuel-efficient cars and sell them at new and used Indianapolis car dealerships, youre bound to gain a reputation like the one weve seen Kia hang onto since the brands inception. Its pretty big praise to be ranked among some of the least expensive cars in the industry and still be considered a great vehicle, but Kia seems to know the formula for it.

Boy, were Kia dealers in Indianapolis excited to see this. For the Car and Driver feature, the publication says about the Forte: Of the 10 cars on this list, five are Korean: Kias or Hyundais. (The Japanese industry has three representatives; the U.S. has one; and a European, as imported by Roger Penskethe Smartfills the last spot.) Of these Korean cars, the new-for-2010 Forte is the strongest in its respective class. In its slightly more expensive coupe form (only $600 more than a similarly optioned sedan), the Forte is even sort of attractive, too. The cheapest Forte is arguably the most fun, as the larger engine adds pounds without much extra power, and the manual transmission is a six-speed, giving enthusiast drivers plenty of ratios from which to choose. If we were to pick a car from this list, the Forte would be among the front-runners.

And for the Soul (again, news that Kia dealers in Indianapolis are stoked about), Car and Driver says: The small-car explosion thats been going on over the past few years has reached the point at which we start to see automakers investing in interesting and fun small cars and not simply inexpensive ones. The Kia Soul belongs to both groups. Its presence here is testimony to its affordabilityeven in the long runand its appearance immediately identifies it as something different. Kia offers an extensive menu of customization optionsincluding stripe packages, wheels, and body add-onsand a Scion-esque stream of limited editions sporting exclusive paint and interior trimmings. In the often dreary small-car segment, the Soul stands out.

For Indianapolis used car enthusiasts, it doesnt get any better than Kia. The Korean manufacturer truly embodies dependability to complement their cars affordability. You simply cant always find that combination out on the market, especially when youre sifting through Indianapolis used car lots. If youre looking for it, Kia has got it, so why look further? Truly, the Korean manufacturer has found a formula that other automakers across the industry could greatly benefit from. And it certainly shows in sales. In fact, Kia logged one of the best years of its career in 2009, when the recession was digging its nails deep into the flesh of the rest of the manufacturers.
