subject: We Found the Top Paid Android Applications [print this page]

Most of the fun that comes with owning a smart phone comes from playing with all of the applications. It won't matter very much what smart phone you purchase, you'll still have a big library of apps to choose from. People who buy Android phones, especially, have lots of applications to choose from.

There are paid applications and free applications. Many smart phone users stick with the free applications. There are, of course, some paid apps that are worth much more than their retail prices. There are plenty of paid apps out there that are very much worth their asking prices. We think that these are some of the best top paid Android applications.

Camera Zoom FX is outstanding for the photographer who desires to have a camera phone with all the capabilities of their digital camera. This paid Android app costs roughly four dollars (it is listed at almost two pounds). This app can be cantankerous, but so can a lot of the apps - including the free ones. For the photos you snap with your Android phone, this app comes with over 40 basis fixes for the photos. You can balance out the white in your photos, geo-tag the photos you take, upload your photos to your social networks with a single button touch and even do rapid burst photo shooting. Pretty sweet for a low priced app, don't you think?

For seven dollars you can download and use Discover Pro. This is a file sharing app that allows you to share files between phones using a wifi connection (whether or not both phones are Android models) as well as sending files from the phone to your computer. This application makes it easy to work away from your computer (and helps free up a lot of time that you probably spend e-mailing). Of course, the app is not limited to document files. You can also send your pics and other files!

PhonePlus Callback might seem like an "extra" instead of a "must have" but it is great for people who don't want to feel like they are rude if they have to refuse a call. This application costs almost three dollars, so it won't break your piggy bank to install it. The idea behind this paid application is that it sends an apology text message to the phone number you refuse. This way, if you can't answer your phone for some reason, you won't have to worry about the caller deciding that you are rude. When the number dialing you is not a mobile phone, the app will send an apology e-mail instead of a text.

Trying to decide between all of the different paid Android applications can be difficult. Most smart phone users are wary about shopping in the paid app market and won't do it unless they can't find what they want in the free app section.

The simple truth is that some of the paid apps are actually worth their asking price. Don't forget that applications are meant to make your life easier and to entertain you. Isn't all of that worth paying one or two dollars?
