This material can be used in all kind of things starting from apparel trims, snaps, buttons to zipper pulls all are made from 50 per cent to 100 per cent Nike Grind material.
The Nike Grind is also used in manufacture of sport surfaces such as basketball courts, tennis courts, playgrounds, running tracks and much more. Amazingly, you need 2,500 pairs of shoes to be grinded to coat a basketball court floor. And a running track might need 75,000 pairs of shoes.
Apart from the Nike Grind, other materials that are wasted in the manufacturing process, like the outsole rubber, is also recycled and reintroduced into the manufacturing cycle to make more outsoles. This sometimes used even to make the Nike Grind.
