subject: Peg Perego Stroller Review - Quality Goods You Can Count On [print this page]

When my son was born, Peg Perego was the brand of stroller that I selected due to the reputation of the company and quality of their construction. The Peg Perego company was founded in Italy by Giuseppe Perego in 1949. He was an innovative gentleman who revolutionized the designs of baby strollers at the time. He used materials that no other manufacturer had used before and the company quickly gained a reputation for building durable products.

Peg Perego strollers glide easily even over uneven surfaces and are ergonomically designed to reduce potential wrist strain on mother and back strain on baby. They typically feature lots of accessories such as drink holders and under carriage baskets to store your shopping. In addition, several of their strollers fold up easily with one hand so that you can manage to get your stroller and groceries into the trunk of the car without too much trouble. Today, the company manufactures a lot of other baby products, including high chairs, car seats, and other toys for babies and tots that you may be interested in.

The company designs various strollers to appeal to each person's need for functionality. If you have multiples, Peg Perego manufacturers double and triple strollers to help you transport them. If you live in an area where the roads are unpaved, the company has a product for you as well. If you would rather spend your hard earned money on a product that will last you the long term and take you from newborn to toddler, the manufacturer has plenty of options to choose from.

The Peg Perego Uno is the stroller that I had when my son was a baby. It's great for newborns because it has a reversible handle so that you can have baby facing you. And, when your baby begins to sit up on his own, the stroller can convert from a carriage to a full seated position. Of course with the reversible handle you can push it like a traditional stroller and have your baby facing forward.

The only thing that I didn't like about the Uno stroller was that, although it folded up nicely, it was quite bulky in the trunk of the car. So, if you keep a lot of stuff in your trunk, you'll probably want to clean it out so that you'll have room for both stroller and groceries or whatever else. You can also get a matching car seat that snaps right into this stroller for easy baby transport.
