subject: Minicards... So Small, So Fun, So Collected! [print this page]

I stumbled upon a marketing site I cant recall the exact site, but theres tons of sites who are also raving about these cards. Moo.com Minicards!

The coolest thing (in my opinon) is you can print up to 100 different images on 100 cards. Very cool. Since Im a designer, I need to show my clients that I can design with multiple attitudes. So I designed a set of 5 different cards to convey my different designing styles.

I ordered just a set of 100 and found some code to get 20% off my order. The total after shipping and handling was about $25 USD. It took what seemed like forever to get my cards. Not that they took long at all, I was just extremely anxious to see them and give them to everyone!

I checked the mail on the way to meet a client for lunch! Nothing could have made my day more than tacos and moo.com Minicards. My client took one of each to keep on hand. That was the trend with anyone I wanted to give just 1 to they wanted a set of 5. So Ive already ordered my next batch of 100.

Once I hand someone a card their first reaction has been, Its so small. Now I know that can be offensive in certain situations, but in this case its not. People say it with a slight glee in their voices. After theyve admired the quality of the paper with a very smooth almost plastic feel (maybe a wax coating?), they want to know the cost, where they can get them, will I design them

Will I? Sure thing! I will design my little butt off. (As long as I can have a couple cards for my collection.)

Thats what its turned into collecting. Its like Ive won the lottery when I get handed a moo.com Minicard. I can put them in the box that mine were shipped in. There are two teeny-tiny files Mine & Theirs I cant wait to fill my first box with Minicards!

So Im asking readers to send me by snail mail their Minicards theyve designed or have had designed Or if you want some designed! Id be glad to!
