subject: Which Subaru Fits? [print this page] I was looking at Subarus online the other day, and found myself gravitating to three models in particular; the Legacy, the Loyale, and the Forester. Personally, I think I need one of each for different aspects of my life. That may sound a little over the top, but it is true. With everything that we are a part of, there is room for each of these vehicles in our lives even if there isn't exactly room for them in our garage.
The Legacy I saw was a sedan, perfect for running errands around town or going out with my wife. There are too many in my family now for all of us to fit in one sedan, but for work or for situations where it wouldn't be necessary or appropriate for all of us to attend, the Legacy would be the perfect ride. It had nice, smooth lines, which not only makes it a nice car to be seen in, but also a great vehicle for attending the different social events that require a little more class and style.
Next was the Loyale. This one was a station wagon. It was perfect for getting my family from Point A to Point B. Nice and roomy, with all the right parts for family vacations, outings, and moving groceries and people. Not only that, but there was enough room in the Loyale for our family to grow a little more and still be able to move our stuff around.
Finally was the Forester. This was the one that I drooled over. We're amateur gold prospectors, and once while scouting a river in the mountains for a new site, we drove our van on to some rough road and ended up damaging our fuel line. The Forester, an SUV, would have been perfect for that trip and all of the other ones we've taken since. Not only is it big enough for the family, it could easy hold all of our gear and any dust, flake, or nuggets that we happen to find while on our adventures.
When I consider the benefits and features of each, I readily admit that I am totally unable to choose. Each has it's strong points, and each suits a particular part of my life. I guess I could try and find a way to get all three, and then enough spare parts to keep them running. My family can be a bit rough and tumble and keeping those cars up and running would definitely be a priority.
