What a game of darts this was. At first it possibly posed more questions than what was expected of Tony O'Shea and Dave Chisnall in this BDO World Championship Darts semi final. O'Shea did the usual and started prominently leading 2 sets to nil with Chisnall unable to match his doubles that were so successfull against Ted "The Count" Hankey. When the match reached 3-2 in O'Sheas favour however things began to change with Chisnall somehow much more relaxed and averaging over 110 for his first 9 darts. But it was the mathematics of both these players that looked the better on Saturday lunch with both players checking out on some unbelievable scores that even the computer in the venue could not have seen coming, in one case Chisnall hitting two 25's when a treble 18 was missed leaving him to finish on a double 16. Chisnall continued to push forward and went 5-2 up with one set remaining where the cameras then reverted to showing their friends and family rather than the actual score. With the eighth set full in swing Chisnall then went two legs clear with the highest checkout of the tournament with 164 and then finished O'Shea off by finishing on the bull with the score 6-2. "I can't believe it. I just can't believe it." He said. The best online bookmakers now have Dave Chisnall as odds on favourite with Tony O'Shea exclaiming how unbelievable Chisnall had played adding. "When he had 164 to go, I just turned around and knew he would do it."About the Author:
